Fuel Surcharge
Fuel prices continue to be volatile. As this is a significant and immediate cost of our service, we occasionally need to
adjust our charges to compensate for the added expense.
In the event that the Average Price exceeds $1.85 per gallon (Base Price), a fuel surcharge shall be assessed on all services.
The Average Price of fuel is determined as the average daily price of regular gas in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area as published at theU.S. Department of Energy - Information Administration for a two week period ending on the 15th and the last day of each month.
The Surcharge Percentage is computed by multiplying the Average Price times the Fuel Factor less the Fuel Constant. The Surcharge applies to the gross cost of service (net of any discounts). The following surcharge is for courier deliveries by small van, small pickup truck or car only.
